Methodology
Pluris Academy was created with a declared purpose: to educate students capable of solving real problems. Teaching is student-centered, and the teacher acts as the facilitator of a journey, not as the sole source of content.
In the early years the focus is on sparking curiosity and creativity. In the middle years, on entrepreneurship and collaboration. In high school, on career, project creation and technology, which is where the partner school comes in.
The program's American courses are not a translation of the Brazilian curriculum. They bring a different way of assessing: less memory testing, more delivered projects. For the student, it is the first contact with the way one studies at an American university.
Accreditations
Pluris Academy, in Orlando, Florida, is evaluated by two school accreditation organizations in the United States. That is what makes your students' High School diploma internationally recognized.

One of the largest school accreditation organizations in the world, present in more than 90 countries. Successor to AdvancED and SACS CASI, it evaluates the whole school: teaching, management and student outcomes.

Middle States Association, Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools. Has accredited K-12 schools since 1887, in the United States and other countries, headquartered in Philadelphia.
Students from Colégio Dom Bosco Rio Claro, the city's first High School class, tell what the program is like.
